The project is based on a "reciprocal", already studied by Leonardo da Vinci, three-dimensional self-supporting structure made up of linear and modular components that are supported each other using simple supports and interweavings. Information technologies allow this construction system to reach its full potential. The reciprocal system can be applied in multiple spatial configurations using parametric software. A specially designed algorithm by the group, using the logic of "minimum surfaces", allows for the optimal structural configuration to be obtained, while minimizing the amount of material needed.
