EQUITANA is the world's leading horse show, held atMesse Essen (Exhibition Centre Essen), Messeplatz 1, 45131 Essen, Germany. The 2027 edition runs18–24 March 2027(Thursday 18 to Wednesday 24 March), with opening hours 10:00–18:30 from Thursday to Tuesday and 10:00–18:00 on the final Wednesday.
Across roughly 30,000+ square metres of exhibition and show space in seven halls, 650 exhibitors from around 40 countries present products, while top brands and innovative start-ups showcase their ranges. The show brings together more than 1,000 horses and offers around 500 hours of educational programming, training evenings and the spectacular HOP TOP Show. It covers the full breadth of equestrian sport — breeding, riding disciplines, training, equipment and horse care — and connects trainers, stars and industry leaders with riders from young horse lovers to international professionals. Entrances are via Hall 6 and the South entrance. Organised by RX (Reed Exhibitions).
