How can we produce car body parts - load-bearing structural parts and complex outer skin panels - in the best way? The three-day Automotive Circle Conference Car Body Parts will address this question, and discuss all engineering aspects relating to the improvement of industrially important processes pertaining to their production in the toolshop, press shop orfoundry.
The conference is divided into two distinct, but overlapping modules.
Module 1 – Casting, Moulding, Additive Technology, September 26/27, is a focus on primary forming technology for metals and polymers, such as plastics. :.
The second module, Panel Forming and Profiling, will be held on September 27/28. It continues the tradition of Automotive Circles Forming Conference in Car Body Engineering and will address progress in the panel forming press plant, tool shop and other secondary forming techniques, such as roll or blow forming.
Both conference modules will discuss advances in both hardware and process simulation. Demonstrator parts that accompany a presentation, if deemed useful, are welcome.
