The International Meeting for Applied Geoscience Energy (IMAGE) is SEG’s flagship gathering of earth scientists and energy professionals. The next IMAGE will take place 17–20 August 2026 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas (previous editions were 25–28 Aug 2025 and 30 Aug–2 Sep 2027). The event features a comprehensive technical program with expanded abstracts, proceedings, and global‑meeting abstracts. Attendees can explore SEG technical standards, journals (Geophysics, The Leading Edge), books, and on‑demand courses. Highlights include near‑surface resources, a photo contest, field‑camp demonstrations, student research awards, scholarships, and the SEG CORE and EVOLVE programs.
