Fitzroy Pavilion will host orchid and other plant sales.
The show is held in conjunction with Horticultural Society of Canberra's Spring Show.
The show features a wide variety of exotic and native orchids that are mostly grown.By society members in full bloom.

Beginner growers may enter their plants as either individual plants or in a display (Section A). Only financial members of Orchid Society of Canberra who reside within 50 km of ACT are eligible to enter Section C. The term 'Novice,' in Section C, refers to any exhibitor who has not won a total of three first prizes at an Orchid Show. However, they will cease to be novices for each sub-section where they win first prize. The exhibitor will remain a up until the end the calendar year they won their third first prize. However, they shall no longer be a rookie in relation to a specific sub-section where they won a first prize.
