The 50th Annual Zwolle Tamale Fiesta runs October 8‑10, 2026 at the Zwolle Festival Grounds. The weekend highlights a culinary showcase centered on hot tamales, a tamale‑making contest, and a cookbook sale. Cultural entertainment includes live music, traditional Spanish‑Indian dance, parades, and children’s activities. Major attractions feature a car show, mud bog, 5K run/walk, trail ride, and a pageant. Arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, and souvenir booths provide additional family‑friendly options. The event also offers downloadable registration forms for participants and vendors. The fiesta celebrates the town’s mixed Spanish, Indian, French, and Anglo heritage while promoting community fitness and heritage preservation.
