American School of Gas Measurement Technology 2026
The American School of Gas Measurement Technology (ASGMT) is the largest U.S. gas‑measurement school, offering a week‑long annual program in September. The curriculum is organized into seven core subject groups: Fundamental Measurement, Gas Quality, Distribution, General & Advanced Measurement, Transmission, Office Procedures & Accounting, and Hands‑On Training. In 2026 the school moved to The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel, expanding capacity to 179 exhibitor booths plus outdoor space for large equipment demos. Exhibitors cover a broad range of technologies, including flow meters, pressure regulators, SCADA, IT/OT measurement control integrity, and other gas‑ and liquids‑measurement products. The program includes both in‑person and virtual courses (GMF and LMF), over 115 lecture classes, 48 hands‑on sessions, and offers CEU credits through Texas A&M‑Kingsville. New tracks such as Information Technology/Operations Technology measurement control integrity reflect the industry’s digital shift. The event provides networking, product demonstrations, and continuing education for students, industry professionals, and manufacturers.
